Job summary

Alameda Center For Rehabilitation & Healthcare is seeking an experienced RN Nursing Supervisor for weekend shifts across all schedules in New Jersey. The role oversees resident care, coordinates nursing units, and ensures compliance with regulations.

The ideal candidate has strong administrative skills, clinical nursing knowledge, and leadership experience in a long-term care setting. Competitive benefits and supportive leadership are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN registration with the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
• Prior nursing experience in a long-term care setting is required.
• Previous supervisory experience in a healthcare environment is required.
• Must provide annual verification of a negative TB skin test.

Responsibilities

• Conduct morning and evening rounds to assess resident conditions and ensure care plans are followed.
• Verify daily staffing levels and reinforce training for nursing staff.
• Collaborate with Charge Nurses on admissions, discharges, transfers and resident well-being.
• Serve as primary contact for emergencies and changes in resident condition.
• Review incident reports and assist in Quality Improvement program implementation.
• Ensure a safe, sanitary environment and monitor meals for nutritional adequacy and resident satisfaction.
• Perform medication passes and provide direct resident care as needed.
