Job summary

Vitruvian Health in Georgia is seeking an experienced Nursing Director to direct nursing care and supervise day-to-day activities of nursing assistants in a licensed care center. The role works under the Administrator, Medical Director, and Director of Nursing Services to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

The RN must hold an active Georgia RN license, have strong clinical leadership, and oversee medication administration, patient assessments, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• RN nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in nursing administration preferred.
• Current RN license in Georgia with BLS CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Directs nursing care for patients and supervises nursing assistants.
• Coordinate care planning and MDS processes with Nursing Services leadership.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Administer medications and document nursing activities.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and staff to ensure quality care.
