Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities in a long-term care facility. The role involves directing daily nursing functions, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and maintaining high-quality care.

Responsibilities include policy development, QA participation, and coordinating care with physicians, residents, and staff. The ideal candidate will have an active RN license, CPR certification, and strong leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must have CPR certification and be currently licensed as an RN in the state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during the tour of duty.
• Assist in directing daily nursing functions in accordance with regulations and guidelines.
• Participate in policy development, QA programs, and facility surveys.
• Oversee admissions, transfers, and discharges; monitor medication administration and patient care plans.
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and staff to coordinate care.
