Qualifications

• Texas RN license (or Compact) required.
• 2+ years in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation or post-acute care.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking.
• Excellent communication, coaching and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to resident advocacy and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing team members during assigned shifts.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care in line with standards.
• Monitor and evaluate resident conditions and respond to clinical changes.
• Serve as a resource and mentor for LVNs, CNAs and other staff.
• Promote a positive, collaborative work environment and professional growth.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident wellbeing and outcomes.
• Assist with staffing coordination, clinical oversight, and shift operations.
• Support compliance with state, federal, and organizational policies.
