Job summary

Touchstone Communities at The Heights of Tomball is seeking an RN Weekend Supervisor to lead the nursing team during weekend shifts and ensure exceptional resident care at the Frank M. Tejeda Texas State Veterans Home.

You will mentor LVNs and CNAs, monitor resident conditions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain regulatory compliance and Touchstone standards. This role requires strong clinical leadership and compassion.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Texas RN license or Compact State RN license.
• Minimum two years in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute care.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to nursing team on assigned shifts.
• Ensure high-quality resident-centered care in line with standards.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to clinical concerns.
• Mentor LVNs, CNAs, and other clinical staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support wellbeing.
• Assist with staffing coordination and shift operations.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational policies.
• Foster Touchstone Experience with residents and families.
