Job summary

Genesis Healthcare is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor to lead nursing unit operations and ensure high-quality, compliant care. You will mentor staff, implement care delivery processes, and work with the Director of Nursing to maintain safe, round-the-clock coverage.

The role requires RN licensure and BSN preference, with opportunities for growth within a collaborative, supportive work environment across our long-term care facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct clinical operations of nursing units on assigned shift, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
• Facilitate care delivery model implementation, mentoring staff and coordinating with other departments.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate staff for safe 24/7 care while limiting overtime and agency use.
• Participate in staff recruitment, new-hire orientation, and promotions/transfers decisions.
