Job summary

Glenwood Health in Decatur, GA is seeking an RN Supervisor for weekend shifts to oversee nursing staff, supervise medications and treatments, and ensure resident safety and continuity of care.

The role emphasizes leadership within a skilled nursing setting, timely documentation, and effective communication with interdisciplinary teams and families. Active RN license required; weekend availability preferred; compensation and benefits are competitive.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise delivery medications and treatments along with supervision of RN/LPN Charge Nurses, CNAs, and Medication Aids where applicable.
• Completion of required admission and routine resident assessments
• Monitor resident conditions and respond quickly to changes, ensuring safety, comfort, and continuity of care.
• Support activities of daily living
• Maintain clear, timely documentation
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary teams and families
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards to protect your residents and your teammates
• Other duties as assigned
