Job summary

Glenbridge Health and Rehabilitation in Boone, NC is seeking a weekend RN Supervisor to lead nursing staff and oversee patient care during weekends. You will ensure staffing, monitor patient conditions, review care plans, and support the nursing team to maintain high standards of care.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, has 5+ years in nursing with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, and demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license.
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory/leadership role.
• Experience in acute care, long-term care, or relevant healthcare setting preferred.
• CPR and BLS certifications required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead nursing staff, providing direction, support, and guidance as needed.
• Ensure staffing levels are appropriate and manage scheduling.
• Monitor patient conditions, review care plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, assist with complex patient care needs.
• Ensure nursing documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with regulatory standards.
• Mentor and develop nursing staff; promote continuous improvement in nursing practices.
• Coordinate with physicians and administrative staff to ensure smooth weekend operations.
• Be available for urgent issues or staffing concerns outside of regular shifts.
