Job summary
WeCare at The Green Home in Wellsboro, PA is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead our nursing team during weekend nights (10p-6a on Saturdays and Sundays). You will oversee patient care, coordinate medical treatments, and support the DON in maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
The ideal candidate holds a PA RN license, has experience in acute or long-term care, and excels at leadership, communication, and staff development.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the State of PA.
- Experience as RN in acute care / long term care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a professional role model by providing leadership, support and guidance.
- Maintain nursing staff performance and ensure FBH policies are followed.
- Ensure safe environment and proper techniques.
- Ensure proper documentation by nursing staff.
- Communicate with Residents, families, vendors and interdisciplinary team.
- Participate in compliance and quality improvement efforts.
- Complete staff evaluations, coaching, education and supervision.
- Monitor direct care and conduct audits.
- Assume on-call duties with other Nursing Leadership Staff.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by DON.
