Job summary

Qualifications
- Must be a CT-licensed RN.
- Minimum of one year of education or experience in geriatric nursing or rehabilitation preferred.
- CPR certified.
- Fluent knowledge of the MS Office suite and other office equipment.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English; ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Responsibilities
- Directs and enforces policies and procedures with staff, families, and visitors.
- Supervises and coordinates activities of nursing personnel on assigned shift.
- Provides medical oversight and responds to emergencies within the facility.
- Verifies physician orders and ensures documentation is complete.
- Assists in recruitment and orientation of nursing staff as needed.
- Maintains patient care hours by assigning nursing personnel in emergencies.
