Job summary

The Greens at Gastonia in Gastonia, NC is seeking an experienced RN Weekend Warrior Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team. This Full-Time role features 16-hour weekend shifts, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and additional Weekend Warrior pay.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current, active, and unencumbered North Carolina RN license.
Current CPR certification.
Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and provide direction to the nursing team.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversight of nursing operations throughout the weekend.
Ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care in accordance with their individualized plans of care.
Supervise, support, and provide guidance to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
Perform resident assessments and assist with medications, treatments, and documentation as needed.
Monitor residents for changes in condition and ensure appropriate follow-up.
Communicate effectively with physicians, families, nursing leadership, and the interdisciplinary team.
Assist with admissions, discharges, and care coordination.
Ensure compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations.
Serve as a clinical resource and point of support for the weekend nursing team.
