Job summary

The-Blossoms is seeking a licensed nurse to join our long-term care team. The successful candidate will observe residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs, prepare and administer medications, and administer treatments in coordination with physicians and staff.

Requires active Arkansas RN or LPN licensure, strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. This role involves weekend duties on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with current Arkansas license.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Observe and evaluate residents' physical, emotional, and social needs.

This position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.

Specific Duties:

• Responsible for making rounds to observe and evaluate physical, emotional and social needs of residents
• Prepares and administers medications charts as required
• Administers treatments
• Consults with physicians
• Communicates with director of nursing and staff

Job Requirements

• Long term care experience preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience in nursing in a long term care environment
• Must be a Registered Nurse or a License Practical Nurse in good standing and currently licensed in Arkansas
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
• Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring skills
