Job summary
Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide private duty nursing for patients in their homes around Lancaster/York, PA. Weekend shifts offer an opportunity to deliver personalized care and build meaningful relationships with patients and families.
Requirements include a PA license (RN or LPN), CPR/BLS, a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Current PA license as RN or LPN.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently in a homecare setting.
- Weekend availability preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with the physician's plan of care.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Educate patients and family members on health management and care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and the healthcare team.
- Respond to changes in patient condition.
- Ensure a safe, comfortable, and supportive care environment.
