Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a per diem weekend position with our Person County Visits office. The RN will travel to cases in designated counties, follow care plans, administer medications, and document patient care with an EMR-enabled tablet.

Qualifications include NC RN licensure, 1 year of clinical experience, and strong interpersonal and time-management skills. Home health experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina RN license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• At least 1 year clinical (medical/surgical) experience
• Home health experience preferred
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned
• Strong time-management skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficient computer skills (tablet/EMR)

Responsibilities

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs
• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
• Administer medications, wound care, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor clients' conditions and report changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform client assessments as necessary
• Case management and coordination
• Accurately document observations and interventions using a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet
