Job summary

UPMC Passavant is hiring a Full Time WEEKEND RN to support the 5 Pav Unit on a 24-hour weekend block from Friday 3pm to Monday 7am. This on-site role in Pittsburgh's 5 North Pavilion focuses on orthopedic care with additional perioperative and surgical patients.

Candidates should have 1+ year of RN experience; BSN preferred; active nursing licensure and CPR/BLS. UPMC offers flexible options and weekend premium pay.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of nursing experience.
• BSN preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, families and staff.
• Ability to work in a complex environment with changing priorities and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains productive working relationships with patients and colleagues.
• Provides teaching to patients and families and supports development of staff.
• Applies nursing process within Relationship Based Care to create a healing environment.
• Demonstrates accountability for professional development and participates in unit governance.
