Job summary

Alamance Health Care Center, part of Medical Facilities Of America, Inc., is seeking an LPN or RN House Supervisor for our 180-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Burlington, NC. We are looking for caring, warm-hearted nurses who want to make meaningful contributions to patient care and family interactions.

The House Supervisor will oversee the nursing department in the DON’s absence, coordinate staffing, admissions, transfers and discharges, and support evening/night shift

Qualifications

• Must hold valid LPN or RN license.
• At least 1 year of nurse supervisor experience in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Oversees nursing department in the DON's absence.
• Reviews staffing at shift change and assigns/replaces staff.
• Completes patient care rounds and coordinates admissions/transfers/discharges.
• Assists in orientation of evening and night shift staff.
• Supervises and evaluates evening/night shift employees.
