Job summary

The Registered Nurse Weekend at Baptist Medical Center East is a full-time onsite role on the third shift. You will supervise and coordinate nursing staff on weekend and holiday shifts, ensuring quality patient care and continuity of services.

You will collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to plan and implement patient care, perform nursing assessments, and document interventions as part of the nursing process, in a busy inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN licensure; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area.
• Ability to assess, plan, and document patient care; effective communication.
• Weekend and third shift responsibilities; teamwork and collaboration essential.

Responsibilities

• General supervision and coordination of nursing personnel on shift, and during weekends/holidays, to ensure quality and continuity of patient care.
• RN will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
