Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Registered Nurse House Supervisor for weekend program days (Saturday and Sunday) in Milwaukee. This part-time role involves 24 hours weekly, with 0300–1530 shifts and a 50% holiday requirement. You will lead clinical staff, ensure quality patient care, and partner with physicians across units.

The position requires a BSN, Ohio? state RN licensure applicable to the Wisconsin region, and typically 3 years of clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Typically requires 3 years of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Participates as a resource to staff for patient-related clinical problems and assists with Code 4, admissions, transfers and monitoring of unstable patients.
• Collaborates with physicians to ensure optimal patient care and resource utilization and acts as a patient advocate.
• Initiates investigation of incidents and medication errors with proper documentation and corrective action.
• Serves as liaison for staff to ensure processes for optimal patient care and coordinates with managers and hospital administration.
• Assist with patient admission, transfer and discharge to support timely processes across the system.
