MultiCare Health System, Inc. is seeking a registered nurse to join the Hospice team in Spokane on weekends. This part-time role focuses on delivering high-quality hospice care within a multidisciplinary team, prioritizing patient needs and comfort.

The ideal candidate holds a nursing degree with RN licensure in Washington, BLS, and hospice experience; advanced nursing degrees are preferred. This role emphasizes teamwork, education, and compassionate patient-centered care.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five years from hire date.
• RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before Jan 1, 2021 may be considered in lieu of an education agreement.
• Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
• Current BLS Certification.
• National Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing preferred.
• One year Home Health or Hospice experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Utilize nursing education and experience to deliver care using the nursing process per policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and costs.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families and health-care staff.
• Advocate for ethical, holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
