Job summary

MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our hospice/hospital-based nursing team. This full-time role follows a day shift with Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., plus occasional evenings 4:30–7:00 p.m. and weekend rotations.

You will provide specialized nursing care using the nursing process in a multidisciplinary environment. The position emphasizes patient- and family-centered care, teamwork, and ongoing professional development in a supportive community

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Washington State or MLS.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certifications as required.
• BSN preferred.
• One year of experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating.
• Use the nursing process to deliver care per hospital policies and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost efficiency.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff and health care team.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
