Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a dedicated registered nurse for a full-time weekend role in Alabama. The nurse will provide skilled care to patients in the home, educate families, and follow physician orders within the plan of care.

The position requires an RN license in Alabama, graduation from an accredited program, and at least one year of licensed professional experience. Flexibility with weekend shifts and driving to patient homes is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of clinical education.
• Must be licensed in the state where they currently practice.
• Must have at least one year experience as a licensed professional.
• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Administer skilled care to patients requiring intermittent professional services.
• Teach the patient, family, and other members of the health care team.
• Perform services in accordance with the physician’s orders and the established plan of care (POC).
• Weekend scheduling required; Saturday and Sunday availability.
