Job summary

Caretenders Home Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Weekend Registered Nurse to deliver and direct nursing care in patients' homes across Ohio. You will coordinate the total plan of care with physicians and team members, ensuring continuity of care and adherence to policies.

The role emphasizes clinical leadership, supervision of care staff, and collaboration with families to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in state of practice.
• Current Driver's License, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.
• Preferred CPR Certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work independently and strong communication, writing, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, implements and revises the plan of care in collaboration with physicians and health care professionals.
• Supervises home health aides and licensed nurses, provides instruction, and assigns tasks per regulations.
• Provides supervisory visits and ensures quality, accurate documentation and timely data entry.
