Job summary

DOCS Health in New Hampshire seeks experienced Registered Nurses to join as independent contractors supporting military service members. The role emphasizes weekend coverage with occasional weekday commitments under RHRP, working on an as-needed basis in NH.

Responsibilities include assessing health histories, reviewing medical records, interviewing service members, and documenting readiness classifications.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited registered nursing program.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical RN experience.
• Unrestricted RN license in the United States (state/territory/Commonwealth).
• CPR and BLS certification required.
• Resilience: capacity to handle high-stress situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with patients, team members, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
