Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Registered Nurses to partner as independent contractors providing services to U.S. military service members in Maine.

The role is weekend-focused with occasional weekday shifts under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP). Responsibilities include health assessments, reviewing medical records, interviewing service members, and documenting readiness classifications.

Background checks, drug screening, and E-Verify are part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited registered nursing program.
• CPR and BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience as an RN.
• Unrestricted state nursing license.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need immediate attention, including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
