Job summary

Key requirements include an active Louisiana RN license, at least 3 years in long-term care or related settings, strong clinical and communication skills, and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Louisiana is required.
• Minimum 3 years in long-term care or hospice preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents per care plans.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes promptly.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document care accurately using the electronic medical record system.
• Provide guidance and support to LPNs and CNAs during shifts.
