Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as Clinical Supervisor-RN on weekends.

This full-time role supports planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas, and may perform duties as a staff nurse or assume delegated managerial tasks. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hospital nursing experience, Missouri RN licensure (or compact), and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: ADN, Nursing Diploma, or BSN.
• Licensure: Missouri RN license or compact licensure.
• Experience: 3–5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supports planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as staff nurse in the department as needed and may perform delegated managerial duties.
