Job summary

Mercy Hospital of Buffalo is seeking a Registered Nurse for the weekend shift to coordinate total patient care on 4 North MHB.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, teach patients and families, and work with the nursing team to maintain professional standards.

This weekend-only position requires NY RN license and BLS; acute care experience preferred, with availability Saturday and Sunday.

Qualifications

• RN must be licensed in New York State.
• Graduate Nurses must pass the NY state licensing boards within four months of hire.
• BLS validation and revalidation per AHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Participate in patient and family teaching and collaborate with the care team.
• Provide leadership by working with ancillary and nursing staff to maintain professional standards.
