Job summary

Qualifications

• ADN from an accredited program is required.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients upon admission and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient status.
• Evaluate patient progress and document findings.
• Supervise LPNs, PCTs, and other team members as assigned.
