Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic unit. The RN will utilize the AACN Synergy Model to assess and address health needs, collaborating with the patient, family, and health care team to deliver evidence-based care.

Eligibility requires an accredited nursing program graduation and an Alabama RN license, with BLS (and possibly ACLS/PALS) required. This full-time role includes shifts across day, evening, and weekend schedules at our Birmingham

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• RN license in Alabama required or eligible.
• BLS required or obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required depending on unit/department.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care using the AACN Synergy Model.
• Delegate, coordinate and manage all aspects of patient care with the health team.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient health needs with the patient and family.
