Job summary

Butterfly Home Care of Manassas is seeking dependable caregivers to provide one-on-one support to aging adults and individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities across Prince William County, including Gainesville. You will work in clients' homes and communities, delivering compassionate, person-centered care tailored to each individual’s routines and goals.

Qualifications

• PCA certification preferred, but not required.
• Previous caregiving, personal care, direct support, or home care experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks and employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, conversation, and meaningful engagement.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Prepare and serve meals according to individual preferences and dietary needs.
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide non-medical medication reminders.
• Assist with grocery shopping, errands, and appointments.
• Provide transportation for approved activities and appointments.
• Support participation in recreational and community activities.
• Encourage independence and daily living skills.
• Follow individualized care plans, service plans, and safety instructions.
• Accurately documenting services provided.
• Communicating changes, concerns, or incidents to the supervisory team.
• Complete other approved care-related duties based on the individual's needs.

Butterfly Home Care of Manassas is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one support to aging adults and individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities throughout Manassas and Prince William County.

About The Role

As a Caregiver with Butterfly Home Care of Manassas, you will support individuals in their homes and communities based on their unique needs, preferences, routines, abilities, and personal goals.

Depending on the assignment, you may provide companionship, personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, transportation, and support with errands, appointments, and community activities.

What We're Looking For

• Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional
• Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification preferred, but not required
• Previous caregiving, personal care, direct support, or home care experience preferred
• Experience supporting aging adults or individuals with disabilities is a plus
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Current automobile insurance when required for transportation assignments
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks and employment screenings
• Ability to complete required orientation and training
• Ability to follow written care plans and verbal instructions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Respect for individual choice, privacy, dignity, and cultural differences
• Ability to safely perform the essential physical responsibilities of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation

Work Location

Care is provided one-on-one in the individual's home and community. Assignments are available throughout Prince William County, Virginia. Caregiver needed for Gainesville area.

Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available based on current client needs, including:
