Job summary

Butterfly Home Care is seeking Male and Female Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to support clients in their homes across Sterling, Herndon, Ashburn, and surrounding Northern Virginia. Flexible part-time and full-time schedules are available, with competitive pay of $15-16 per hour.

Ideal applicants include students, experienced caregivers, recent graduates, career changers, and entry-level candidates. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required for some cases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Compassionate, dependable and respectful demeanor
• Good communication skills essential
• Ability to follow care instructions precisely
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 lbs
• Previous PCA/caregiver experience preferred but not required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation when needed
• Must pass background checks and screenings

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Support bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, and daily routines
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with household tasks and community activities, when applicable
• Help maintain a safe and comfortable environment
• Follow individualized care plans and company guidelines
• Communicate important observations to the care team
• Complete required daily documentation

• Schedule: Part-Time & Full-Time
