Job summary

The League for People with Disabilities is seeking a Weekend Respite Camp Counselor for part-time weekend shifts in Baltimore. You will provide participant-centered support to individuals with disabilities during weekend respite and camp programming, promoting independence and community participation.

You will supervise activities, assist with daily living supports when trained, and maintain safety and confidentiality while documenting and communicating with the camp team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Ability to work weekends and in a camp setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow individual plans and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide participant-centered support.
• Supervise weekend activities and meals.
• Assist with daily living activities when trained.
• Maintain participant safety and supervision.
• Complete required documentation.
• Collaborate with Camp Director and staff.
