Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing facility team. The RT will assess and treat residents, initiate therapies, maintain accurate records and participate in interdisciplinary discussions.

Ideal candidates have COARC-accredited AS or BS in Respiratory Therapy and current licensure (RRT/CRT) in the state of practice, with BLS certification. Prior long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program and licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the practicing state and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and implement respiratory techniques for rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Provide bedside treatments and quarterly in-services for staff.
• Document daily/weekly/monthly activities and participate in IDT meetings.
• Experience with tracheotomy and long-term care settings; follow facility procedures.
• Manage caseload, tracking and auditing as required.
