Apploi is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing facility team. The RT will assess and treat geriatric residents, perform bedside respiratory therapies, document care, and participate in IDT meetings.

Licensing in the practicing state and BLS certification are required; prior experience with tracheostomies and long-term care is preferred. This role offers consistent 4–6 hour shifts with weekend work (Saturday and Sunday).

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing; BLS certification.

Aufgaben

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to progress rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment.
• Complete a variety of bedside treatments.
• Complete in-services for nursing staff every quarter.
• Responsible for completing daily, weekly and monthly documentation.
• Attend applicable IDT meetings.
• Experience with tracheotomy.
• Experience in a long-term care setting.
• Follow procedure and protocol of facility.
• Completes tracking, auditing and caseload management.
• Performs related duties as required.

Ausbildung

COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program

Licensed in the state practicing BLS certification
