Job summary

Apploi is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join a Skilled Nursing facility in Tennessee. The RT will evaluate and treat residents independently, manage respiratory care plans, and participate in interdisciplinary care meetings.

The role requires COARC-accredited education and state licensure (RRT/CRT) with BLS. Experience in long-term care and tracheostomy care is preferred; weekend shifts are included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program; licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the practicing state and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and implement respiratory techniques for rehab patients with various respiratory and non-respiratory illnesses.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Provide bedside treatments and in-services for nursing staff quarterly.
• Document daily, weekly and monthly activities; attend IDT meetings.
• Experience with tracheotomy and long-term care respiratory duties.
• Follow facility procedures and protocols and manage caseloads.
