Job summary

Apploi is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team in a skilled nursing setting for geriatric patients. You will assess, treat, and document care, and collaborate with the IDT while performing bedside therapies to progress residents rehabilitation.

Qualifications include COARC AS or BS in Respiratory Therapy, RRT/CRT license, and BLS. Weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, with 4–6 hour blocks and potential up to 8 hours per shift.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT with BLS certification.
• Licensed in the practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate equipment.
• Perform bedside treatments and document daily, weekly, monthly.
• Attend IDT meetings and participate in interdisciplinary care.
• Manage caseload and track audits as required.
• Provide tracheostomy care and airway clearance therapy.
