The Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Florida is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. The position requires licensure in the state, and the ability to evaluate and treat residents independently.

You will perform assessments, initiate therapies, document thoroughly, and participate in IDT meetings. Experience with tracheostomy and long-term care is preferred. This is a full-time role with a schedule including weekends.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT in the state of practice.
• BLS certification.

Aufgaben

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to maintain and progress rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment.
• Complete a variety of bedside treatments.
• Complete in-services for nursing staff every quarter.
• Responsible for completing daily, weekly and monthly documentation.
• Attend applicable IDT meetings.
• Experience with tracheotomy and long-term care setting.
• Follow procedure and protocol of facility.
• Completes tracking, auditing and caseload management.
