Scarlet Oaks Care Center in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist (RT) for the Weekend Warrior Night Shift. You will deliver respiratory care to residents during Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night rotations, collaborating with nursing staff and physicians to promote comfort and outcomes.

This role emphasizes independent overnight work, precise documentation, and adherence to infection control and safety standards within a modern clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT).
• Previous respiratory therapy experience preferred.
• Ventilator, trach, and pulmonary care experience preferred.
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' respiratory status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered by physicians
• Perform trach care, suctioning, oxygen management, and airway support
• Monitor respiratory equipment and ensure proper functionality
• Collaborate with nursing staff and providers to develop and implement care plans
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and resident responses
• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide clinical support during overnight hours
• Educate residents, families, and staff regarding respiratory care as needed
