Job summary

Nashville Center For Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist for a Skilled Nursing facility in Tennessee. Candidates must hold a COARC-accredited AS or BS in Respiratory Therapy and be licensed as an RRT or CRT with BLS certification.

The RT will evaluate and treat residents independently, following facility protocols. Schedule includes 4-6 hour shifts (up to 8 hours with caseload) on Saturdays and Sundays, and requires dedication to geriatric care and

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC-accredited AS or BS Respiratory program; licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the practicing state and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments and implement respiratory techniques for rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Execute bedside treatments and in-services for nursing staff quarterly.
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly documentation; attend IDT meetings.
• Experience with tracheotomy and in long-term care settings.
• Follow facility procedures and policy manuals; manage caseload.
