Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state of practice with BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and apply respiratory therapies to rehabilitate patients with various respiratory illnesses.
• Initiate therapies, document, and manage equipment.
• Perform bedside respiratory treatments.
• Provide quarterly in-service trainings for nursing staff.
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly documentation.
• Attend appropriate IDT meetings.
• Experience working with tracheostomy patients.
• Experience in long-term care settings.
• Follow facility procedures and protocols.
• Track and audit caseload and patient records.
• Perform related duties as required.
