Job summary

The Hamlet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at Nesconset is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a full-time weekend schedule (Saturday and Sunday). Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program, licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and implement respiratory therapy techniques to rehab patients with various respiratory illnesses.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment.
• Perform a variety of bedside treatments.
• Complete in-services for nursing staff quarterly.
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly documentation.
• Attend IDT meetings as applicable.
