Job summary

The Hamlet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at Nesconset in New York is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join a skilled nursing team, with Saturday and Sunday coverage. Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program; licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes respiratory assessments and implements techniques for patients with various respiratory illnesses.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Perform bedside treatments and ensure daily/weekly/monthly documentation.
• Attend applicable IDT meetings and participate in caseload management.
