Job summary

New Narrative is seeking a Part-Time Weekend Residential Support Specialist to join our team in Beaverton, OR. The role supports residents in a mental health residential program, focusing on daily living skills, safety, and community engagement.

You will work Saturdays and Sundays from 7 AM to 5 PM, helping residents move toward individual goals. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, CPR certification, and comfort working independently.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age and capable of implementing emergency procedures and disaster plan.
• Must be able to administer CPR and Naloxone (Narcan).
• Must be comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with residents to support movement toward goals and transition planning.
• Assist with activities of daily living and instrumental tasks like attending appointments and household tasks.
• Provide crisis intervention using nonviolent de-escalation techniques.
• Meal preparation and facilitation of group activities and community engagement.
• Ensure medication management and adherence to policies.
