Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in Holtsville, NY is hiring a Resident Care Aide for Per Diem Sundays and Mondays 3pm-11pm. You will provide compassionate hands-on care, assist residents with ADLs, escort to meals and activities, and help maintain safety and wellbeing in a warm, respectful setting.

This role requires a CNA, PCA, or HHA certification and English proficiency; prior geriatric experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Personal Care Attendant (PCA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required.
• Must be able to speak and read English.
• Experience with geriatric populations and ADLs preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain patient dignity and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Escort residents to meals and recreational activities.
• Support residents' physical, emotional, and psycho-social well-being.
• Follow policies and procedures; report to Nurse Shift Supervisor and Director of Wellness.
