Job summary

FOREST GROVE POST ACUTE is seeking a Registered Nurse for weekend shifts to supervise daily nursing activities and ensure care aligns with federal, state, and local standards.

Reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will support policy implementation, maintain up-to-date procedures, and coordinate nursing services with other resident care teams to uphold high-quality, compassionate care for residents.

Qualifications

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities in the facility.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
• Maintain high-quality care and resident safety.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing activities per DON/ADON guidance.
• Develop and update nursing service policies and procedures.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
• Maintain reference material and current standards of practice.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services.
• Participate in quality assurance and facility surveys.
• Prepare reports and discharge planning as required.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as needed.
