Job summary

Majestic Care of New Haven is seeking a Weekend Registered Nurse, RN to join our care team on the unit. You will provide skilled nursing services under the supervision of the nursing management team and supervise CNAs to ensure high-quality resident care.

This role emphasizes compassionate, compliant care and collaboration with physicians to implement orders. Weekend schedule with competitive pay and benefits is available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license in the state employed; license in good standing.
• CPR training/certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in patient care planning and assessments.
• Administer medications, start IVs, and document treatments.
• Supervise CNAs to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Implement physicians' orders accurately and promptly.
• Assist with tests and procedures per Nursing Practice Act.
