Job summary

Project HOME is looking for part-time Support Staff at Sacred Heart Recovery Residence in Philadelphia. You will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals facing mental health challenges and foster a nurturing environment. Key responsibilities include managing resident access, conducting safety checks, and assisting with daily living activities.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, a ServSafe certificate, and at least one year of experience in behavioral health or homelessness. Hourly pay is $19.20, with shifts on weekends.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience working in behavioral health and/or homelessness.
• ServSafe certificate at time of hire or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Grant access to staff, residents, guests, and delivery personnel.
• Conduct building rounds to check safety and security.
• Address urgent and crisis situations using de-escalation strategies.
• Manage resident interactions independently.
• Participate in shift briefings and document shift summaries.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Prepare and serve meals/snacks as required.
