Job summary

Chestnut Health Systems Inc. is seeking a part-time Client Care Technician / Recovery Support Specialist to provide trauma-informed, recovery-focused support on Fridays and Saturdays at the Men’s Residential Unit in Maryville, IL.

The role includes guiding clients’ recovery journeys, facilitating daily activities, and assisting with meals and medication supervision. The position emphasizes empowerment, safety, and professional client interaction within a supportive team, with evening and weekend

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree acceptable.
• Total of 5 years of experience plus college may substitute education.
• Certifications may be required depending on experience level.
• Willingness to discuss recovery journey as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Guide the Recovery Journey by observing progress and reporting on goals.
• Promote a recovery-first mindset with trauma-informed care.
• Lead daily activities with the clinical team.
• Assist with meal preparation and monitor medication adherence as needed.
