Merriam Gardens Healthcare & Rehab is seeking a Receptionist to provide front-desk support, coordinate with departments, and ensure excellent resident service. You will greet residents, handle inquiries, and coordinate with dietary, nursing, and activities staff to maintain smooth operations.

The role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a healthcare setting. On-site position in Merriam, KS with benefits included.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Must possess effective communication skills with residents, families, staff and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Greet new residents and orient to facility services.
• Resolve resident questions and complaints; provide information to improve service.
• Serve as liaison between residents and other departments.
• Document customer satisfaction and report trends to QA committee.
• Coordinate discharge planning with resident, family, rehab, nursing and referrals.
• Arrange for resident service consults and maintain records.
• Answer phones and direct callers; take messages for staff.
