Job summary

RTX is seeking a Receiving Inspector to perform visual inspections of materials, verify identifications and document findings. This on-site role operates on a 2nd weekend shift (Fri–Sun, 7:00 pm–7:30 am) at the US-GA Midland site.

Responsibilities include checking part numbers, documenting deviations, and ensuring conformance with shipping documents while communicating with suppliers. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge and proficiency of inspection methods.
• Vision and color perception requirements.
• Excellent reading and writing skills with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of purchased parts and materials.
• Verify part, serial numbers, part numbers, and deviations; check for damage.
• Complete inspection records, logs, and rejection reports.
• Communicate concerns with supplier conformance in writing and verbally.
• Unload parts from courier truck at loading dock; obtain PIV license.
• Complete invoices and packing slips to ensure customer payment.
• Obtain RX inspection stamp within 3 months in role.
